Here is some information to help you use TPOAHome.com

1. How to Create an account: Just click on the big orange button on the left side of the screen. You must give your first and last name and your e-mail address. Instructions will be sent to the e-mail address you give. If you are a TPOA member your name will be checked against the members list. Please allow 24-48 hours to be approved if you are a TPOA member. 
    
2. What if I forgot my password or username? You will need to request a new password. In the log in box, click the link that says "request new password" and then you will need to either enter your e-mail address that you signed up with or your username. A new password will be sent to you with your username. It will be sent to the e-mail address you signed up with.
    
3. What if I still can't get into the site? Please e-mail the webmaster to have your account reset.
    
4. How can I subscribe to pages? As a registered citizen or member, you can subscribe to pages that have a subscription link at the bottom. Look for the link in blue at the bottom of the page that says, "Subscribe To: This Post" and every time that page is edited, you will receive an e-mail with the new updated content. When you are subscribed, then the link will change to Unsubscribe To : This Post and you can click it to unsubscribe and you will no longer receive e-mails when the page changes. 

TPOA Members Help Topics

1. How to subscribe to a Forum:  As a member, you can subscribe to forum topics that have a subscription link at the bottom. Look for the link in blue at the bottom of the forum topic that says, "Subscribe To: This Post" and every time that page is edited, you will receive an e-mail with the new updated content. When you are subscribed, then the link will change to Unsubscribe To : This Post and you can click it to unsubscribe and you will no longer receive e-mails when the page changes
    
2. How to create a forum topic: Under your username in the left column of your screen there is a link called "create content". If you click it, you can create a forum topic. Fill out the form with  a title. In the first dropdown menu, choose which forum you want your topic to show up in.

    **restricted content** this is important. Choose Member.

   in the body area type your topic. Preview your post, then click the save button. It will show up in the forum.
    

3. How to post comments in the forum: The forum link is on the right sidebar list of links. Click forum and choose any forum topic. Look at the bottom of the original post and you will see a link that says "Add New Comment" Click it and type in your subject and your comment. Preview and then click the save button. You can also reply to a comment by clicking the "reply" link at the bottom of each comment.
